After every name was discussed, including Anushka Shetty’s, finally the search has stopped with Tamannaa, who was missing in action in Tamil films is now acting in Ajith’s mass entertainer, directed by Shiva and produced by the famed Vijaya Productions.
The Paiyaa star was all along insisting that she was not visible in K’town because she was getting too busy with Tollywood films.
Now, the biggest buzz is that Tammanna was lured with a fancy fee. If sources are to be believed, the deal was sealed at Rs 1.5 crore, which puts her in the category of ‘highest paid actress’ in Tamil films, only behind the sizzling Nayanthara.
A source close to Tamannaah says, “She has been paid what she deserves and not as rumoured in reports.”
