Movies with high of entertainment quotient are turning out to be hits. People love comedy. And if the lead actors indulge in comedy it is an added advantage to the film. Success of Dhookudu, Baadshah, Atharintiki Daaredhi in Telugu and Chennai Express in Hindi has proved this trend.
Now, Ram who is going through a very lean phase is hoping to bounce back. His last two movies -Endukante Premanta and Ongole Githa - were flops. He badly needs a hit. Ram has high hopes on this Masala, whose main ingredient is Venky in the lead role.
Since Masala is remake of a blockbuster of Hindi movie, Bol Bachchan, and the movie's director Vijay Bhaskar has good track record of dealing with remakes ( Nuvve Kavali), Ram is confident that the movie will put him on the pedestal of success again.
Masala is slated for release on November 14. He is paired up Shahzan Padamsee in this film.
